Student Life in London

London is the largest city and the capital city in England and the United Kingdom. It stands on River Thames and has a major settlement of two millennia. The City of London is London’s ancient core. The city of Westminster is part of Inner London and has city status. London is famous for its art, architecture, culture, and entertainment events. The metropolitan borough is also near to it.

Accommodation:

Student Accommodation London has many facilities and varieties.  Places around the busy city center or near the university are ideal for accommodation. Many universities provide in-house accommodation facilities. Students have a facility to choose independent living also. Transport links are very good owing to Liverpool Street Station. Finsbury Park is a little far away from London but has good transport link due to its connection with Kings Cross Station. The area is centered around a park with good bars, restaurants, and a great music scene.

London is a global center of higher education and research and has the highest number of higher educational institutes in Europe. PricewaterhouseCoopers in its report in 2014 termed the city the global capital of higher education. Many world-class institutions are located in London. The Imperial College London, University College London (UCL), and King’s College London (KCL) are some of them.

The London School of Economics was described as the world’s leading social science institution for teaching and research. The London Business School is one of the world’s best business schools in the world. The University of London includes five multi-faculty universities. It is home to five major medical schools, namely, Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, King’s College London School of Medicine, Imperial College School of Medicine, UCL Medical School, and St. the George’s University of London.
